Does Kyle Allen Deserve To Start Against The Titans?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers’ loss to the San Francisco 49ers did two things: quieted critics of the 49ers who said they’d only beaten garbage teams, and turned up the heat in Carolina. Their four game winning streak was exposed.

Here are some of the words used to describe the 49ers 51-13 performance Sunday:
Blow out.
Acrobatic.
Highest-scoring game in 26 years.
Prolific.
Stellar.

And Carolina? “Christian McCaffrey was the lone bright spot,” says ESPN.

As for Kyle Allen, woof. He threw three interceptions and was sacked seven times.

Here’s what Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera said when a reporter asked if he thought about putting Will Grier in Sunday: “Well, no, to be honest. Because we’re playing with a young quarterback to begin with and he needs reps. He needs to practice and to learn and grow and understand.” Coach also said, “Kyle sped some things up when he didn’t need to. He had a little bit more time. He probably anticipated a little too much. He needed at times to take what we gave him.”

Does Kyle Allen deserve to start on Sunday?
