CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person has died after being shot on Skyland Avenue. Officers have identified the victim as 33-year-old Anthony Howie.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers say they were called to the scene just after 3:30 p.m. Detectives tell WCCB, there was some sort of domestic dispute between the victim and suspect that led to the shooting. A person of interest is currently being interviewed by officers. They have not said if the person being questioned is the shooter.
WCCB crews are on the scene and will bring further as information becomes available.
