SPENDER, NC — Three men hiding behind masks killed two Spencer men in front of their family Wednesday night.
Police investigated for nearly 16 hours. Fingerprint dust stains the door on the 5th St. home.
It’s a reminder for Angela White of the robbers who she saw beat and kill her brother, James Walker, and her son, Antonio “Tony” Walker.

“I’m just steady doing CPR on my son and telling him I love him and everything, and trying to work on my brother at the same time,” recalled White.

She says the three men were wearing gorilla masks when they rushed her home. She says they went after her son first.
Β
“They just went in there and shot him two times in his room while he was watching TV,” said White.
Her brother tried to help, she says, but he became the second victim.

“He tried to reach for his gun to shoot back at them,” said White. “They beat him in the head with the gun.”

White’s daughter, Jasmine Walker, called 911.

“I told them that my uncle and my brother just got shot, and we were robbed,” said Walker. “We had to really witness something like that, and it was our last time seeing them alive.”

Tony’s little girls weren’t home.

“Thank God his kids weren’t here to see it,” said White.

While no one saw the masked mens’ Β faces, police believe the robbers knew their victims.

Investigators say the evidence they left behind has lead detectives to several suspects. Although, they wont say what specific evidence because they do not want to jeopardize the investigation.

“I can’t bare being here,” said White.Β She plans to move from her home of 16 years now that Tony and James are gone.Β
