CHARLOTTE, N.C. — According to CMPD, officers are conducting a homicide investigation near the intersection of Pace Oaks Blvd and University Ridge Drive which is off of East W.T. Harris Blvd.
Officers say they located a man on the ground next to a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders, according to a news release.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Li Y.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
