One Personal Trainer Moved Her Services Online Amidst COVID-19

CORNELIUS, N.C. — A personal trainer with over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry has moved her services online to help others stay healthy, manage stress, and find an outlet during and after the pandemic.

Personal trainer Sarah Tuczynski says when gyms closed back in March, she saw the opportunity to help others reach their health and fitness goals by starting her own online business.

Tuczynski says, “Everyone is under a different level of stress than where they were at when the year began. With so much changing, people need new and different solutions on how to get and stay healthy, manage stress and find an outlet. People don’t want, or may not be able, to be in big gyms or crowds. As science and information evolves we have the ability to collect and use data directly tailored to the consumer which is exactly what my programs provide. These programs exceed the information readily available to the general population. They are an affordable, customized solutions for each and every individual client in order to meet them where they are at in this time we are in.”

Before gyms closed Tuczynski says she was already providing individually tailored workout programs, but since COVID-19, she now offers nutrition and DNA personalized programs online to help more people.

“I am a people and results focused based trainer. What I do with my clients is not just about the weights we lift or the nutrition program we follow, it’s about building a better version of ourselves, however you define your ‘better’. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my programming, information, and services to provide the best to my clients.”

Tuczynski says she is passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals because she also once struggled with weight, self confidence, and health issues.

“Fitness and health means the possibility of better. Doing life better, feeling better, sleeping better, performing better, looking better. It means self confidence. It means empowerment. I’m passionate because I’ve been there,” says Tuczynski.

Tuczynski says her online business isn’t about competing with gyms whenever they do open back up, but her goal is to provide long term solutions to those looking to make major changes to their overall health, wherever they want to workout.

At her website Coach Sarah T, Tuczynski says she uses nutrition plans and DNA to further personalize fitness and health programs for her clients.

Tuczynski says anyone who wants to get fit and focus more on their health while North Carolina remains in phase 2 of reopening should start small.

“Take a 5 minute walk, drink more water, eat the apple instead of the chips. Building big habits based upon small successes is how you accomplish your goals.
Taking these small steps towards bettering your health and wellness is the best way to improve your quality of life.”
