Unsettled Start to the Week

Waking up to a muggy start with temps in the low 70s throughout Piedmont. Highs will reach the mid-80s today with scattered showers and storms back in the forecast. An unsettled pattern through Tuesday with more storms in the forecast. It’s going to be much hotter this week after a break from those 90+ degree days. Highs will reach the low to mid-90s by Wednesday with a high-pressure system keeping temps well above average. Isolated rain chances Wednesday and Thursday, but remnants of Hurricane Laura, which will likely make landfall as a category 2 hurricane mid-week in Louisiana, will bring more rain and storm chances to the area by Friday.
