Waking up to patchy fog this morning. A few scattered showers north of I-40. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s today – back to seasonable highs under partly cloudy skies. A few scattered storms possible this afternoon. Heat builds mid-week with temps racing into the 90s. It will be hot and dry through Friday with temps reaching the mid-90s Friday afternoon. This weekend brings a cold front that will pull in some cooler temps back to seasonable highs in the mid-80s. A few showers and storms are possible with better storm chances early next week.
