Hot And Humid End To Workweek

Hot and humid conditions will continue across the WCCB Charlotte Viewing Area for Thursday and Friday. The feels like temp will reach 100 in many location across the Charlotte Metro. Today the influence of high pressure and sinking air, I expect everyone to stay sunny and dry except for the high country where an isolated shower or storm is possible late this afternoon and tonight. A cold front will move across the Carolinas on Friday and while the chances of it popping storms are very low, they are there. More importantly, that front will bring cooler less humid air for the holiday weekend.
