Brief Warm-Up; Cooler Weekend

Another gorgeous day on tap with highs reaching the upper 70s this afternoon. A cold front will bring cooler temps to end the week. Breezy tonight with lows in the mid-50s. Highs not getting out of the 60s by Friday afternoon. Saturday and Sunday mornings will be crisp with temps falling the 40s in the piedmont and low to mid-30s for the higher elevations. Dry and cool for the weekend ahead with highs only reaching the upper 60s to lower 70s – about 5-7 degrees below average. Temps will slowly warm to the upper 70s by the middle of the next week, but rain chances remain minimal.
