Unsettled Pattern Through Thursday

Tropical moisture will funnel into the area as a high-pressure system that has kept our weather calm and mild breaks down and moves east. A few sprinkles today along with patchy morning fog as temps remain mild. Highs will top out in the mid-70s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Rain becomes more steady overnight as a cold front moves in slowly from the west. Pockets of heavy rain could lead to localized flooding. Rainfall totals of 2-3″ will be possible with isolated areas receiving up to 4″ of rain through Thursday. This system will not clear the area until Friday. Cooler air moves in for the weekend.
