Showers through Thanksgiving Morning

A cloudy start to the day with slightly warmer, but still chilly temps in the 30s and 40s across the region. Clouds will stick around today with a chance for showers beginning this afternoon. The best shot at rain comes this evening with up to 1/2″ of rainfall possible at most through Thanksgiving morning. A chance for a rumble of thunder Thanksgiving, with better conditions later in the afternoon as we dry out and temps, reach the low 70s. Cloudy with a slight chance of showers through the weekend. Temps will remain above average with highs in the mid-60s to lower 70s. A stronger system will bring in heavy rain Sunday into Monday and colder air behind. Some models indicating ~1-3″ of snow for the mountains above 3000FT – something we’ll be watching closely over the next few days.
