Olivia Jade Apologizes For College Admissions Scandal, Says “I Deserve A Second Chance”
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Olivia Jade Giannulli is opening up about the college admissions scandal that her parents were a part of. It comes after her mother, actress Lori Loughlin and her father, designer Mossimo Giannulli admitted to paying half a million dollars to help get their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California.
The 21-year-old beauty influencer appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk to explain what she learned in private from the public situation. She says, “There is no justifying or excusing what happened, cause what happened is wrong and I think every single person in my family can be like ‘That was messed up. That was a big mistake.’ But I think what’s so important to me is like, to learn from the mistake, not to now be shamed and punished and never given a second chance, because I’m 21. I feel like I deserve a second chance.”
Olivia Jade says she wants to find ways to give back to people who are not as privileged, without throwing money at a problem.
Our question of the night: can you forgive Olivia Jade?
