CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson is catching up with Ana Lindsay of The North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville this morning to to find what the kids are now learning as part of the Eco-Explore program and how popular the program has become. Thousands of kids have sent in their observations from their own backyard and are earning badges and prizes while learning more about nature. More information about the Eco-Explore program at The NC Arboretum can be found at ecoexplore.net.
Ana also talked about the latest subject in the program which is about flowers and plants and how they are pollinated from other plants and how some need animal pollinators.
The North Carolina Arboretum offers acres of cultivated gardens and groomed trails featuring some of the most beautiful, botanically-diverse plants in the region.
