Quiet and Mild Start to the Week

Waking up to a chilly start with temps in the 20s and 30s across the region. Highs will reach the low 50s today – near seasonable highs. Overnight fog willΒ develop with lows dropping into the low 40s. Tuesday and Wednesday will bring the return of a few scattered showers across the region. Highs will reach the upper 50s. Rain chances look much better Thursday as a series of disturbances move through the region. The weekend is a little dicier. Much of the US will be dealing with intense arctic cold. However, it’s lookingΒ like our region will be on the edge of this extreme cold with temps only a few degrees below average. We’ll be watching this closelyΒ over the next few days.
