Edge On The Clock: JJ Watt Signs Deal With Arizona Cardinals, Plus Open Casting Call For Movie Filming In Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – NFL star JJ Watt will be suiting up for the Arizona Cardinals next season. The 31-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Cards, but the terms of the agreement were not released. Watt is the only pro football player in league history to collect multiple seasons of at least 20 quarterback sacks, which he did in 2012 and 2014.
Plus, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the first bi-costal Golden Globe Awards Sunday night. Poehler was in New York City, and Fey broadcast side-by-side with her from Los Angeles.
And, Lionsgate will begin production on the movie version of the popular Judy Blume book Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret in April, and the production will take place right here in Charlotte.
