GREENVILLE, S.C. — UPDATE: Authorities have located Opheliya Burris and her biological mother in Georgia.
An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 1-year-old last seen in South Carolina. Authorities say, Opheliya Burris was last seen Tuesday night with her biological mother Melenia Ratliff around 11:30 p.m. She was taken from a home on Sandy Lane. Authorities say Ratliff does not have custody of the child and could be headed towards Georgia or Florida.
Opheliya is 2 feet tall, weighing 25 pounds, and was last seen wearing pink pajamas. Authorities say Burris and Ratliff are in a 2009 white Ford F-150 truck with paper tags. Melenia is 22-years-old with long black hair and brown eyes. She is 5’3″ and weighs 122 pounds.
If anyone has seen Burris or Ratliff, they are asked to call local law enforcement immediately.
