Across the country 17 percent of health clubs closed permanently, revenue was down an average of 58 percent compared to 2019, and the industry lost 44 percent of its workers.
Now Delta is threatening again and people may be looking for new ways to stay connected and active.
Right now, gyms are not required to ask for proof of vaccination. It is currently up to the individual business owner.
