Wednesday looks like a brighter and windier day, with highs rebounding into the mid-70s which will be a nice little warm-up before we dive into the cooler air for the holiday. By Thanksgiving, temperatures will take a noticeable dip, dropping into the lower 50s.

Death Toll At 7 In N.C. After Hurricane Leaves Severe Flooding

The remnants of Hurricane Matthew triggered severe flooding across North Carolina as the storm made its exit to the sea Sunday, and hundreds of people had to be rescued from their homes and cars. The death toll in the U.S. climbed to at least 14, half of them in North Carolina.
