Taylor Miller joined the WCCB News Rising team in September 2025. A proud Charlotte native, Taylor grew up cheering on her hometown and always dreamed of working in the city she loves. She graduated from Independence High School and went on to earn her degree in Mass Media Communications and Journalism from UNC Charlotte before continuing her technical training at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
Before making her way back to the Queen City, Taylor served as Co-Executive Producer and host of FOX 24 News Now in Charleston, South Carolina. It was there she found her passion for connecting through conversation—conducting hundreds of interviews that showcased inspiring stories, community voices, and meaningful causes.
Taylor loves getting out into the community and believes her work in news is about more than sharing information—it’s about creating connections. Her goal is to make every person she meets feel seen, heard, and important.
When she’s not in the studio, you can usually find her spending time with her family, exploring Charlotte’s growing restaurant scene, or diving into her latest DIY project.
