Unsettled weather returns to the forecast today. A cold front will go through the area later this afternoon for some that means a few strong to even severe thunderstorms may develop. Most of the WCCB Viewing area is under an enhanced risk for severe weather (that’s a 3 on our 1-5 scale) Biggest threats we will have with storms today will be the potential for damaging winds and large hail. However, an isolated tornado, or two will be possible. After this last batch of storms move through drier air will move in. Tomorrow we welcome in the first day of summer with sunny skies and a rainless day. Temperatures will be heating up to the low to mid 90s through the weekend. Isolated storm chances will return Saturday. A chance for storms or remain in the forecast through next week along with the hot and steamy temperatures.
