Tonight, we’ll have a few showers and thunderstorms that will continue for most of the evening. With so much moisture in the air, any storm that develops could produce a quick round of heavy rain. Most areas will stay dry, with the bulk of the impacts across the mountains. A low risk of severe storms remains in place.

Right now, some of the latest guidance from NOAA and the ECMWF suggests there’s roughly a 1-in-3 chance we could reach those levels by late summer or early fall.
