As we head into Saturday and Sunday, don't expect quite as much sunshine as we've enjoyed lately. The clouds will be hanging around, but here's the good news. Temperatures will still be pretty comfortable. We're looking at afternoon highs right around 70 degrees, which isn't bad for the beginning of November.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will be closed on Monday due to the winter storm moving through the Charlotte area. The district will not be using a make-up day.

This will be the second-strongest level issued by NOAA for geomagnetic storms. The concern tonight is a severe geomagnetic storm of this magnitude can potentially affect the Earth’s power grids, satellites, and aircraft data.
