Warm and muggy evening with storm moving in Friday

The start of Friday will remain quiet with bright sunny skies and feels like temps near 102°. By Friday evening, though, the atmosphere starts to get a little more unsettled. A few scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected, with the best opportunity after the evening commute. Isaias, Again A Tropical Storm, Spawns Wild Inland Weather | PHOTOS

Tropical Storm Isaias spawned tornadoes and dumped rain during an inland march up the U.S. East Coast on Tuesday after making landfall as a hurricane along the North Carolina coast, where it piled boats against the docks and caused floods and fires that displaced dozens of people. At least one person was killed when one of its twisters hit a mobile home park.

Storm Isaias Unleashes Flooding, Landslides In Puerto Rico

Tropical Storm Isaias battered Puerto Rico on Thursday as it continued on a forecast track toward the U.S. mainland, unleashing small landslides and causing widespread flooding and power outages on an island still recovering from previous hurricanes and earthquakes.
