The American Red Cross North Carolina Region has opened an emergency shelter in Union County as snow and ice move into the area.
Two shelters are open in York County to assist the Countyβs vulnerable and at-need populations. The Northside Recreation Center in Rock Hill and the York Recreation Center in York have opened shelter operations and will remain open until further notice.
