Thursday brings the start of a warming trend as our brief break from the heat comes to an end. Expect plenty of sunshine from start to finish, with afternoon temperatures climbing back to around 90 degrees. Humidity levels will begin to increase, but it shouldn't feel oppressive just yet.

It is the first time since April 2011 that parts of the high country have been under a level 4 (out of 5) severe threat. Widespread wind damage, large hail, isolated tornadoes and localized flooding are all concerns.
Cloud cover and rain will lead to much cooler temperatures on Thursday. On and off rain could lead to isolated flash flooding.
The launch may be viewable across the Mid-Atlantic region for a few minutes Tuesday evening after 8:30pm.
