DALLAS (AP) β€” Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons will miss Saturday night’s game against NBA-leading Golden State with swelling in his right knee, raising questions about his health just two weeks before the playoffs.

Coach Rick Carlisle says Parsons sustained the injury in a loss at Indiana last Sunday. He scored 22 points in a win over Oklahoma City the next game and started against Houston on Thursday before leaving in the third quarter.

Carlisle didn’t offer a time frame for Parsons’ return, but says he isn’t concerned about a long-term injury.

Parsons is third on the team with 15.7 points per game after signing a $46 million, three-year offer sheet that Houston declined to match. He missed seven games in February and March with a left ankle sprain.
