RAW AUDIO: Radio Traffic Following Trooper-Involved Shooting of Deaf Man

RAW – The NC Highway Patrol has released the radio traffic from the time of the Aug. 18th trooper involved shooting of Daniel Harris, a deaf Charlotte resident.

According to reports, Trooper Jermaine Saunders attempted to pull over Harris’ Volvo on I-485 for speeding. Harris then took off, exited at Rocky River Road, and turned into his neighborhood on Seven Oaks Road.

Saunders said Harris advanced toward him, and that’s when Saunders fired on him.
