ITT Tech Forced To Close All Campuses Nationwide
CHARLOTTE, NC– School’s out for good for students at ITT Technical College, including two campuses in Charlotte.
The U.S. Department of Education banned the school from enrolling new students who receive Federal financial aid last month.
Today the college shut down more than 130 campuses nationwide.
A few students dropped by Charlotte’s South campus off South Stream Boulevard to get their stuff.
“I’m really disappointed to be honest. I feel let down, I feel like I was scammed to be honest,” said student Richard Mora.
Students say they are relieved to know they can receive debt forgiveness for outstanding school loans. Central Piedmont Community College says it’s ready to help those students anyway it can.
