Wells Fargo Makes Donation To Help Bring Charlotte Back Together
CHARLOTTE, NC — Wells Fargo announced Thursday evening that they will donate $250,000 to help support Unite Charlotte.
Unite Charlotte is a new community fund that was established in response to the recent violence throughout the city. Wells Fargo officials say the fund will be housed in the United Way of Central Central Carolinas, and it will support programs and organizations that promote community healing, rebuilding trust, and creating opportunity.
Wells Fargo’s Regional President for Charlotte, Kendall Alley, said in a statement, “Wells Fargo is committed to being part of the solution in responding to issues Charlotte is facing.”
