Wilson’s World: Visiting With Two Legged and Four Legged Walkers at Tails of the Trail

The next Tails of the Trail Dog Walk will be Sunday, June 25th at the River Walk in Rock Hill.

ROCK HILL, S. C. – Earlier this year, on National Puppy Day, Wilson was at the River Walk in Rock Hill to introduce us to Tails of the Trail.  Today he returned to the River Walk to check back in on some of the shelter dogs that are looking for a new loving home.

Every month the Tails of the Trail – Carolinas connects with the Humane Society of York County and the Humane Society of Charlotte to enjoy a walk with some of the shelter dogs that are currently looking for a new home.   Sheba’s Doggy Day Camp safely transports the dogs to the park to be partnered up with a human for a walk around the trail of the Catawba River and hopefully meet someone who will fall in love with them and give them a new home.

Wilson talked with volunteers and met some of the wonderful dog that are up for adoption.  And got a surprise when he found out that Bacon, the dog he fell in love with, has been adopted.

To find out more about the Tails of the Trail Dog Walk  follow them on Facebook at Tails of the Trail – Carolinas.  Volunteers are needed to hike with the dogs for their upcoming walk on June 25th.  Check out their website at tailsofthetrail.org  to volunteer or donate.
