Wilson’s World: Gearing Up for the 16th Annual 24 Hours of Booty

24 Hours of Booty Ride/Walk begins on Friday, July 29th.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Each year Wilson heads to “booty” headquarters where he gets us pumped up for the 24 Foundation‘s upcoming 24 Hours of Booty.  This year is no exception.  He was joined by volunteers and participants who will all be coming together on July 28th to raise funds for Levine Cancer Institute, Levine Children’s Hospital, LIVESTRONG Foundation, and Keep Pounding Foundation and Queen’s University.

He was having fun with one team that will part of the booty ride.  Laura Whitaker with Team Cootie Jones joined Wilson to explain why they are called Team Cootie Jones, her fight with cancer and why the team is part of the event.

Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine is just one of the many corporate organizations that partner with the 24 Foundation to sponsor and bring the event together.

Something new for this year’s 24 Hours of Booty, participants will be able to walk the booty loop if they would like.  So not only bike riders, but also those who enjoy a good walk can help to fund programs for advancing cancer survivorship and and navigation programs.
