Wilson’s World: Introducing Us to Dean’s Shoe Repair in Myers Park

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson enjoys highlighting small businesses.  When he received an email from the folks at Dean’s Shoe Repair, he knew he had to check them out.

Dean’s Shoe Repair is a small business owned by Mo and Holly Mahfoze is located in Myers Park.  They have been in business for almost 8 years and have been named the best in Charlotte by Charlotte Magazine 4 years.

Wilson took us inside the shop to show us how shoe repair is done and talk with Mo and Holly about their love of the business and got an up close look at some of the first class work they do.  Dean’s Shoe Repair is located at 2925 Selwyn Avenue in Charlotte.

He also went outside into the parking where the Vibram Sole Factor Tour has set up shop with their portable shop for the next 3 days.  Dean’s Shoe Repair has been established as one of only 5 Vibram Sole Factor’s Diamond Location.  The Vibram Sole Factor Tour along with Dean’s will be repairing shoes through the weekend 10am until 6pm each day.

Members of the Charlotte Hornets‘ Honeybees were with Wilson this morning giving away tickets to upcoming Hornets games.
