Wilson’s World: Local Realtors Get their Hands Dirty on Realtors Care Day

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It’s Realtors Care Day and thousands of realtor volunteers throughout Mecklenburg and Iredell Counties are getting their hands dirty to help homeowners with exterior repairs and safety upgrades.Β  Wilson was with some of the volunteers at Shiloh Institutional Baptist Church where they were gearing up to work.Β  Today they will be working on 23 differentΒ  homeowner sites and 2 different non-profit groups.

Since 2009 this community wide project has made a great impact on our community’s elderly and disabled, and others living in unsafe or substandard conditions.Β  It has also helped non-profits receive much needed repairs.Β  Since it’s inception the project has helped over 231 homeowners and non-profits.
