Wilson’s World: Enjoying a Fresh Breakfast at the Famous Toastery in Uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Wilson was enjoying a fresh glass of orange juice and  a hot breakfast this morning when he was visiting the Famous Toastery in Uptown Charlotte at 330 South Tryon.

Open from 7am until 3pm the Famous Toastery offers fresh ingredients in their breakfast and lunch menus as well as their breakfast and lunch catering menus.  Former NFL player Jusin Griffith who is the owner of this location joined Wilson to talk about the restaurant’s ‘grab and go” counter for those customers who are in a hurry but still want a fresh meal.  Wilson also went into the kitchen to give us a peek at how they prepare their fresh made breakfast and lunch items and got a little “hands on” with an omelette.

This location of Famous Toastery has been open a few months and during their “soft opening” they gave 100% of their proceeds to help Classroom Central.  And if you follow Wilson, you know that he works closely with Classroom Central to encourage the community to help give students who live in poverty the school supplies they need to succeed in the classroom.
