Wilson’s World: Previewing ‘Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family ‘ at Discovery Place
Discovery Place's newest exhibit 'Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family' runs from May 26th through September 3rd.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was outside in Uptown Charlotte this morning with Harvey the T-Rex where he was giving away tickets to Discovery Place’s newest exhibition opening later this month ‘Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family.’
The tyrannosaurs rex is the world’s most popular dinosaur and the new exhibit shows us why. The mulitmedia experience features 10 life-sized dinosaur specimens on display including one of the oldest tyrannosaurs. Visitors to the exhibit will find out where this powerful dinosaur came from and how it evolved into the popular creature.
The exhibit will also include a dig and a multimedia experience with dinosaurs roaming the streets of Charlotte as well as many other family friendly activities.
All tickets include full-day admission to Discovery Place Science and are for timed entry, so visitors will be asked to select a date and time of their visit before purchasing.
