Wilson’s World: Enjoying a Morning Cup of Joe and Talking Alzheimer’s Assn at Central Coffee Co.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Wilson was waking up strong this morning at Central Coffee Co. on Camden Road in SouthEnd.  He was joined by members of the Alzheimer’s Association – Western Carolina Chapter where they are teaming up with Central Coffee Co.  in their upcoming ‘The Longest Day’ campaign to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s.

Katherine Lambert, CEO of Alzheimer’s Assn – Western Carolinas Chapter talked with Wilson about the importance of knowing early warning signs and diagnosis of Alzheimer’s.

June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.  June 21st is the longest day of the year so this is when the Alzheimer’s Association chose to celebrate ‘The Longest Day’ when they bring together thousands of people to show their love and support for those with Alzheimer’s.

As part of ‘The Longest Day’ campaign from June 11th through June 17th, Central Coffee Co will be donating proceeds from each central shorty coffee ordered to the Alzheimer’s Assn.  For more information connect with them on Facebook HERE.
