Wilson’s World: Previewing the 2018 Bojangles’ Summer Shoot Out at Charlotte Motor Speedway

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Summer is here and so is 25th year of the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout.  Every Tuesday night through July 31st, under the lights at CMS , the Summer Shootout will include thrilling races, school bus races and exciting exhibitions.  Wilson was at CMS this morning to preview the upcoming series.

Wilson was enjoying a little smack talk with some of the younger drivers.  Legends car drivers Sam Mayer and Dawson Cram as well as Bandolero Bandits driver Landon Rapp talked racing and a little smack.

Head out to CMS tonight and join Wilson as the 2018 Season of the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout kicks off!  Gates open at 5pm.  Fans can get drivers’ autographs and pictures with a Legend, Bandolero or NASCAR stock car and watch future stars of motorsports hit the track for some serious racing.  Tonight’s event also includes some of the area’s professional and college sports mascots as they duke it out in the Mascot Mania.  And of course, Wilson will be there as well.
