Wilson’s World: Previewing the 4th Annual TCPD Camp Cadet Golf Tournament
The 4th Annual TCPD Camp Cadet Golf Tournament kicks off this Friday, Septemer 28th at 7:30am.
TEGA CAY, S.C. — There was a beautiful sunrise this morning when Wilson joined us from Tega Cay Golf Club where they are preparing to tee off this Friday for the 4th Annual TCPD Camp Cadet Golf Tournament.
The tournament was created to raise funds for York County’s Camp Cadet program. The one week summer camp is free for the kids that attend and it provides a way for the campers to interact and bond with first responders in the community. Fifth, sixth and seventh graders of all different backgrounds learn everything about the fire department, police department and bomb squad.
Tega Cay Police Chief, Steve Parker, joined Wilson to talk about the golf tournament and the Camp Cadet program.
If you’d would like to play some golf and give back to support the Tega Cay Police Department Summer Camp Cadet program, attend the 4th annual Camp Cadet Golf Tournament this Friday, September 28th at the Tega Cay Golf Club, 15083 Molokai Drive. For more information contact Sgt. Rob Burns at 803-371-0858 or rburns@tegacaysc.gov or go to the link on Tega Cay’s website HERE.
