Subaru South Boulevard Makes Donation To Friendship Trays

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As part of its ongoing support of local communities, Subaru of America, Inc. (“SOA”) and Subaru South Blvd presented a check for $32,820 to Friendship Trays. Friendship Trays was selected by Subaru South Blvd as their hometown charity choice for the 2018 Subaru Share the Love Event.

From November 15, 2018 to January 2, 2019, customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru vehicle selected from a list of charities to receive a donation of $250 from SOA. For the third year in a row, there was no cap on the total donation from Subaru of America to its Share the Love charitable partners. SOA and its retailers will have donated more than $145 million since the creation of the Share the Love Event eleven years ago.

For 2018, SOA selected the four national charities: ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals On Wheels America® and National Park Foundation, while Subaru retailers could also elect to add a hometown charity to help support their community. Subaru South Blvd selected Friendship Trays as it’s hometown charity and listed it as an organization that customers could select to receive the 2018 Subaru Share the Love Event donation.

The check for $32,820 was presented to Executive Director, Lucy Bush Carter by Eric Swanson, District Sales Manager, Subaru of America, Bill Musgrave, Wanda Musgrave and Gary Porter, of Subaru South Blvd. This donation brings Friendship Trays’ total to $58,128 over the last two years of the program.
