Kemba Walker Open To Taking Less Money To Stay With Hornets
CHARLOTTE, N.C — The path for the re-signing Kemba Walker potentially got a little easier on Thursday.
The three-time NBA All-Star said he would be open to taking less money to stay with the Hornets if that helped them construct a winning team.
As an All-NBA player Walker is eligible for a supermax contract from the Hornets. Five years, $221 million. Other teams can offer a four-year deal worth $140 million.
NBA free agency opens June 30th.
