CHARLOTTE, N.C. – College football season is here. The UNC Charlotte 49ers kick off their season Thursday night when they take on Gardner Webb University. Wilson had a little fun on the university’s football field this morning with the school’s mascot, Norm. He then had the opportunity to talk with players, 49ers Head Coach Will Healy and Mike Hill the Director of Athletics about the exciting upcoming season.
The 49ers kick off their season tomorrow night, Thursday, August 29th at 7:30pm when they take on Gardner Webb University at home. Ticket info and more can be found on their website charlotte49ers.com.
