1st Ever Charlotte Has Talent Show Plays to Sold Out Audience
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Local celebrities lent their talents for a great cause at the first ever Charlotte Has Talent at the Booth Playhouse in Uptown. Proceeds from the event will go toward buying personalized duffle bags for all of the 600 foster children in Mecklenburg County. Often, foster children transport their belongings in trash bags.
Retired Panther great Jonathan Stewart, WCCB News Edge contributor and comedian QCB, and Woody and Wilcox from 106.5 The End were among some of the competitors. WCCB News @ Ten anchor Morgan Fogarty and Charlotte Lately’s Natalie Stewart emceed the event. Least of These Carolinas hosted the show.
