Hundreds In South End Shopped ‘Local’ For Small Business Saturday
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The holiday shopping rush is only just beginning. Hundreds headed to South End to shop local for Small Business Saturday.
More than 150 pop up shops were right at your fingertips. An entire street was shut down to encourage people to shop local.
A few businesses such as 704 Shop, Support Local Apparel, and Rico’s Acai welcomed customers throughout the day. Whether you were looking for clothing, jewelry or food, there was something for everyone. Creativity is the key to success several small business-owners told WCCB Charlotte.
