Wilson’s World: Learning More about The Charlotte Museum of History’s ‘An Afternoon on the Grounds’

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Museum of History is a not-for-profit organization that interprets and preserves Charlotte’s unique history. Unfortunately the museum has been closed during the pandemic, but this weekend, they will begin a slow reopening.  Their first event will be ‘An Afternoon on the Grounds’ where guests can explore the Museum’s park-like setting with a self-guided walk through the garden and view the historic buildings.  Lauren Wallace joined Wilson to talk about the upcoming event and the re-opening of the museum.

The Charlotte Museum of History’s ‘An Afternoon on the Grounds’ will be this Saturday, September 19th from 12pm until 5pm.  Reservations are required and guests over the age of 5 will be required to wear a face mask.  Tickets will be a special price of only $10 per car, but to promote social distancing, tickets will be limited.  Event, ticket and health guidelines can be found HERE.
