Is It Fair To Compare Tom Brady And Serena Williams As GOAT Athletes?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won Super Bowl 55. The Buccaneers won by a score of 31-9 against last year’s champions, the Kansas City Chiefs and their superstar quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. This was Brady’s 10th Super Bowl appearance and his 7th win, the most of any quarterback in history.

Brady says, “I think everybody believed we could win. Really all year we believed in our self. The coaches believed in us; we believed in ourselves. Again, we were going up against a great team tonight and we got the job done.”

Social media users were quick to point out that Tom Brady may not be the greatest of all greats. Some pointed towards tennis superstar Serena Williams as contender for the title of greatest of all time. Williams, at the age of 39, has 23 major titles, 33 major finals, and 358 match wins and 4 Olympic gold medals. That’s compared to Brady’s 7 Super Bowl titles, 3 MVP titles, and 230 career wins.

One user says, “Every year, Simone Biles does something that is supposed to be *humanly impossible* to do. Her athleticism has made us reevaluate physics itself. Serena has so many trophies they don’t all fit in her giant trophy room. So no, Tom Brady is not the greatest athlete of all time.”

Our question of the night: who is the GOAT of all GOATs?
