Royal Reaction: Buckingham Palace Responds To Racism Allegations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The backlash from the Harry and Meghan and Oprah sit down interview continues. Buckingham Palace is finally speaking out about the bombshell accusations of racism and favoritism that were made during the interview that garnered 17.1 million viewers.

According to a statement released on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning.” The statement goes on to say, “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

The Monarch Queen Elizabeth will also reportedly speak to senior royals, including Charles, Camilla, William and Kate, behind closed doors about the couple’s allegations.

During the two hour interview Harry says Prince Charles stopped taking his calls for a while, and that he was cut off financially in 2020. Prince Charles made no comment about the interview Tuesday as he was visiting a COVID vaccination center in London. He made no comment, but Twitter is full of opinions. One person said, “The spin begins,” and, “I’m surprised they said even this much. I am pretty sure it was released ‘under duress.'”

Not everyone rushed to cynicism. One person calls the statement a, “Dignified and understated response,” adding “Well done, Royal Family.
