NYC cat jumps three stories from burning building

NEW YORK, N.Y.– It was a scary moment as Goldie the cat dropped three stories from a burning building in New York City. Firefighters were working to rescue Goldie while putting out the fire at a building on 43rd street. Instead, Goldie took a leap of faith and luckily managed to land on his feet and was then picked up by a firefighter. Goldie is now recovering with a foster after undergoing surgery for a split lip. He’s expected to be reunited with his owner in the next few weeks.
