CHARLOTTE, NCΒ – Local school districts are making changes because of the expected wintry weather on Wednesday.
Burke County Schools will have a snow day for students with no school and no remote learning. Staff will have an optional workday.
Caldwell County Schools will be closed.
Kannapolis City Schools are closed to students.
Union County Schools are closed to students.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools are shifting to remote learning. There will be no extracurricular activities, facilities use, or athletics.
Alexander County Schools will be on a remote day for students. Buildings will be open for staff.
Cabarrus County Schools will have remote learning.
Catawba County Schools will have remote learning. QUEST will not operate.
Hickory City Schools will have a remote learning day.
Newton-Conover City Schools will operate on a remote learning day for students. Kid Connection will be closed as well.
Rowan-Salisbury Schools will have a remote learning day for students.
Iredell-Statesville Schools will have a remote learning day.
Gaston County Schools will have a remote learning day.
