Wake Forest University’s new Charlotte medical school campus unveiled

CHARLOTTE, NC – Wake Forest University recently unveiled its new campus in the Pearl Innovation District.

Charlotte was previously the largest U.S. city without a 4 year medical school.

The Wake Forest Charlotte campus is unique in it problem based learning curriculum

Nearly 200 students were accepted to Wake Forest University’s two medical school campuses in Winston-Salem and Charlotte.

The inaugural four year class at the Charlotte campus is made up of nearly 50 students, a third of them are from North Carolina.
