Potential Tropical Cyclone One has formed in the Gulf of America. This system has a short window to develop, but does have a chance at becoming Tropical Storm Arthur by Wednesday.

Locally, our rain amounts depend on the track of the low pressure. As of Tuesday morning, expect rain to move in early Friday with heavy downpours possible. Some locations may see an inch of rain – this would be beneficial.
Tropical Storm Watches are in effect for parts of Louisiana and Texas.
